It’s Monday!
I love, love, love the color green and I’m not quite ready to let go of my St. Patrick’s Day inspired mood board. In the wake of St. Patrick’s Day I am also thinking a lot about “luck”.
We’re quick to write-off leprechauns (and pots of gold at the end of rainbows) as fairy tales and folklore. Yet, we hold fast to luck as if it’s a solid game plan.

Happy Friday and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! How are y’all feeling? I won’t be doing the “green beer thing” this year, but I am wearing my favorite green shirt and there’s definitely a Shamrock Shake in the forecast for me.
This week has been a whirlwind; I mean that in the best way possible. I said “yes” to some exciting (but intimidating) projects and it’s been exhilarating to jump in and tackle new challenges.
BOOK LIST: MARCH 2017
People often ask me where I find inspiration for projects. I usually point them in the direction of Pinterest, but I also encourage them to go to the library. Yes, the library – aka “vintage Pinterest”.
I am a naturally curious person and I love to read about almost anything. Learning about a broad scope of topics and having a wide range of references has definitely made me a stronger designer. I’ve had more serendipitous creative boosts than I can count!
MONDAY MOTIVATION: 3.13.17
It’s Monday!
We lost an hour of time when our clocks sprung forward this past weekend. This morning I woke up thinking how nice it would be to have that time back (every. single. second. of. it).
It’s difficult to understand the value of time until it gets taken away from us. An hour seems like a small increment of time in the grand scheme of things, yet when we are pressed for time (or in need of sleep) those sixty minutes feel invaluable.
