I had a great week; it was challenging, eye-opening and inspiring. This weekend I am looking forward to finally diving into some projects that I’ve had simmering on the back burner for way too long.
I’m usually not the type to post photos of my food, but these empanadas were so good that they absolutely need to be documented. I picked them up when I was attending the San Francisco Renegade Craft Fair (I’ll be posting a video soon). They are filled with ham, prosciutto, green onion, a five cheese blend and chives. Delicious! I got them from the El Sur food truck.
Earlier this week, I was on set at the Creative Live studios for a live taping of Goal Setting & Planning to Grow Your Standout Business with Tara Gentile. Tara is an author and small business strategist who’s work has been featured everywhere from Forbes Magazine to between the covers of numerous New York Times best selling books. Her workshop gave me a strong boost of inspiration and left me with a clear set of action items – I can’t wait to check-in twelve weeks from now.
Speaking of “checking in”, I will be doing just that during the next 100 days. I took on the #100days challenge this year. My goal is pretty broad in theory – I am committed to creating something offline everyday. Since I spend tons of time working with digital tools, it will be nice to set aside some time each day for traditional art & design projects. Four days down; ninenty-six more days to go!
