GOOD STUFF: FEBRUARY 19, 2016

This week got off to a sunny start in Los Angeles- we took a road trip to SoCal for a long weekend and had an incredible time! With Valentine’s Day, The Grammy’s and the L.A. Marathon; there was plenty to see and do in The City of Angels.

The highlights from our trip are: hanging out in Hollywood, having my first Pink’s hot dog, people watching on Venice Beach, and enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Day brunch at the Beverly Hilton (cheers to bottomless champagne!).

I always feel refreshed and inspired after a weekend away – this time was no exception. I returned from L.A. excited about tackling new projects and overflowing with ideas for current client work. I’m also thinking about freshening up my work space for Spring. This post from The Blog Market was right on time.

Speaking of travel…I need to step up my passport photo game. Prince used social media to show the World exactly how passport photos should be done. I mean the winged liner, smoky eye, fluffed fro and flawless skin – no one does it like Prince.

Another of my favorite artists who’s also known for her legendary style made her mark on New York Fashion Week. Erykah Badu styled Peter Moss’s Fall 2016 show and infused the brand with her eclectic aesthetic. Vogue correctly predicted the show would be a perfect “collision of fashion, music and politics”.
