How are you feeling about your New Year’s resolutions as January comes to a close? Are you as optimistic and motivated as you were on January 1st? Hopefully you haven’t lost focus of your goals – but if you have, there is still plenty of time left in 2017 to refocus and get things done.
The difficulty isn’t in making a vision board, or even in scheduling activities on your calendar – the challenge comes with being able to execute consistently even when it feels like nothing is changing. This is especially important when working toward long-term goals since we may not always see progress in the tiny shifts made on a day-to-day basis. However, as time progresses those tiny accomplishments add up to major achievements. It takes persistence and patience.
This week I am committed to remaining disciplined, staying focused, keeping my eye on the prize…and possibly getting a new pair of glasses. I’m really digging the round frames.
What’s your plan for the week?
Monday Motivation is a quick mood board that I make to kick-start my work week. You can check out what “motivated” me in past weeks here.
