We lost an hour of time when our clocks sprung forward this past weekend. This morning I woke up thinking how nice it would be to have that time back (every. single. second. of. it).
It’s difficult to understand the value of time until it gets taken away from us. An hour seems like a small increment of time in the grand scheme of things, yet when we are pressed for time (or in need of sleep) those sixty minutes feel invaluable.
The bad news is time flies,
the good news is that you’re the pilot.

On the bright side (literally), Daylight Savings time means more sunlight hours during the day and evening – I always feel more productive during this time of year. I love wrapping up my workday and still being able to get out and enjoy a few hours of sunshine.
The irony about Daylight Savings is that we can’t actually “save” time. All we can do is invest our time judiciously and use it wisely. This week I am committed to taking inventory of how I am investing my time (professionally and personally)…and trying to make up for that “lost” hour.
What’s your plan for the week?
