The weather in San Francisco was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend! It was sunny and warm, the flowers were in bloom and there was a perfect ocean breeze. Over the weekend I also had the chance to chat with some incredible creative entrepreneurs. As they discussed their long and difficult journeys to “overnight success”; I realized that success and sunny days have a lot in common.

The shine of success is almost always preceded by a dark and foggy period of hard work, self doubt and multiple failures. Most people will throw in the towel, but those who do stick around eventually get to see their hard work blossom into something beautiful.
The bottom line is: storms water us for seasons of growth. This week I am committed to gracefully weathering any “storms” that may come my way.
